A place where ideas live and leaders are born!

Innovation has played a huge role in where WOLF @ Best Buy is today. Every Pack, every Omega team, every Gamma spends time working on an innovation project to help create a better shopping experience for women in our stores. This goes way beyond focus groups or brainstorming. These teams present their ideas to business teams, work on an actual business plan, work on testing their idea in one or more Best Buy stores and (very importantly!) measure the results! To date teams have partnered with Best Buy for Business, Geek Squad, Best Buy Mobile, International, Marketing and many other teams.

Here's what Best Buy leaders are saying about working with WOLF to grow their business:

"My experience with the Omegas has been both eye opening and insightful... It truly gave us the opportunity to see the unrated version of what our female customers really think and feel. Their ideas of what we can do to change and better serve the female customer was amazing and also a great learning tool for me and the GM team. So much that we have taken a lot of their ideas and are trying to implement in the stores... We also are trying some technology classes and hope for great success there too. There is no doubt that the Omegas have brought valuable and amazing ideas for my market. My recommendation to every DM is to welcome this great opportunity to work with the Omegas and embrace their amazing feedback and work. I welcome the opportunity to work with an Omega team again." -- Scott R. - District Manager, Tampa

"...I can say that I doubted this process from the beginning and by the first couple meetings was blown away by Tori's impact and this group of female customers!!!! Not only did it impact me because of the omegas but gave me a better appreciate of the entire Wolf program! I have come full circle from someone who looked at it as "that women's group" to understanding the impact of how amazing the Wolf program is for our business and more importantly what it does to each individual it touches." - Harvey B. - District Manager, Indianapolis

"This was my first Omega event but it definitely will not be my last. I was happy I was able to attend because it ties right into our strategic plan. We are focused on engaging our female customers and our female associates. Currently our female to male mix is 41%.Traditionally, you find female associates at the front lanes or customer service. At our store, we have female associates in all of our selling departments except for mobile electronics. We have been on purpose with hiring qualified female associates for the sales floor and we will fill the need in mobile electronics. The increased urgency to engage our female customer has resulted in our store achieving a 2.4 % comp. for the 1st quarter and we were able to far exceed our peer group's performance with all of our female segments. My female associates are excited about the financial results they have been able to achieve and the insight they have received from our female shoppers indicate they are pleased seeing more females on the sales floor. They are all working hard toward their certifications to ensure we are meeting our customer's needs." - -Jim Howard - General Manager, Atlanta
