Best Buy is committed to supporting our communities by sharing our time, talent and resources. This commitment is particularly strong in difficult times, and many are now working to help those communities that are dealing with the aftermath of the earthquake that devastated Haiti.
Best Buy is contributing $200,000 to the International Federation of the Red Cross and Mercy Corps for the relief efforts in Haiti. The contribution includes:
- $100,000 contribution to the International Federation of the Red Cross for immediate response efforts in Haiti.
- $100,000 contribution to Mercy Corps, a strategic Best Buy partner through the Clinton Global Initiative and Best Buy Children's Foundation's for both immediate and long-term infrastructure re-building (including technology) in Haiti.
