Few causes bring together women like
Breast Cancer Awareness.
This October the entire WOLF @ Best Buy network will be coming together to help make a difference in this battle that is so personal for so many.
Here are just a few things that you'll see from WOLF in October:
- Pink Shirts! Best Buy is known for our blue polo shirts, but for the past three years many Best Buy employees have opted to wear special pink polos (60,000+!) for Breast Cancer Awareness during the month of October. This is a great way to show support to both employees and customers who have a personal tie to this special cause. Pink Shirts are available on Buy lt and can be purchased by the Store or by individuals.
- Pack Give Backs! Give Backs are one of the three pillars that WOLF was founded on, and we're going to be focusing on this pillar in a big way in October. During the year, each WOLF Pack is asked to give back in their community. In years past they have focused on a variety of worthy causes. This year, we've asked them all to plan a give back that focuses around Breast Cancer Awareness--that's the passion and commitment 50 Packs with one goal - making a difference in the lives of those impacted by Breast Cancer!
- Making Strides Against Cancer Walk! On Saturday October 9, WOLF @ Best Buy will be joining up with thousands at the Making Strides Against Cancer Walk at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis. Registration begins at 8 AM, and the walk begins at 9:30 AM. The public is welcome to join in this fun, family-friendly event.

There is no registration fee or fundraising minimum, but we'd like you to consider setting a personal fundraising goal to help us reach our team goal of $10,000! Any fundraising is greatly appreciated and will help in the fight against breast cancer. - Special WOLF @ Best Buy offer! The WOLF website will become the hub for all of our Breast Cancer Awareness efforts during October. This will include a special friends and family offer for a product that benefits a breast cancer charity.
